PROSPEX 1968 DIVER’S MODERN
RE-INTERPRETATION

TAILORED FOR TODAY
Part of a rich legacy of innovation in high-intensity timekeeping, Prospex continues to celebrate a long history of sports watch excellence with recreations and reinterpretations of landmark achievements. While staying true to the design concept of the original 1968 timepiece, Seiko has updated the revolutionary 1968 diver’s watch with more tailored and contemporary lines and upgraded materials such as stainless steel with super-hard coating for superior durability.
EQUIPPED FOR THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE
The 1968 design is offered in two different calibers: the 6R35 movement with a slimmer profile and remarkable 70-hour power reserve and the 8L35 movement, hand assembled in the Shizukishi watch studio in Japan specifically for Diver’s watches.

DESIGNED FOR THE DEEP BLUE
With a water resistance of up to 300m, the 1968 modern interpretations follow ISO standards for Diver’s watches. A screw down crown and water-tight case as well as a uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel make the timepiece a perfect companion on the most challenging dives.
